A modular DIY touch sensitive wall lamp. Use the honeycomb disks to create any pattern. The disks are actual LED lamps that light up when touched. It's a series of plastic hexagons, which can be connected with magnets and interlocking patterns to form a touch screen wall lamp. Magnets that make up the physical connections between components also allow the current to flow from one component to another.
With AC power supply, each component is turned on and off through a capacitive touch sensor. The basic idea is to enable users to convert the internal structure of any space into a light source. It allows the user to illuminate the path of their contact by simply sliding their hands off the surface of the wall. Now your entire interior space is a canvas and your hands are brushes. Give vent to the artist in you and design a pattern uniquely yours!
Each component can be easily connected to a magnet located at the edge of the individual honeycomb. Hexagonal shapes allow these components to be embedded together and allow for different patterns. The combination of modularization and lighting control makes it fully customizable, enabling environment-specific lighting solutions.
